Apparently the assistant coaches need to work on Fannin’s transition from a high school quarterback to a college runningback a little more… specifically, his ball-carrying technique (or lack thereof.)
Matt Grothe’s good, but not unbeatable. The South Florida QB was often only a fraction-of-a-second away from eating the ball… but, that’s all he needed.
Boy, when everyone said Auburn had “young, inexperienced receivers”, they meant it.
The real shame of this loss isn’t that we lost, but that we lost to a Big East team. Congratulations Auburn, you just supplanted Georgia as the #1 reason why all Big East teams will be ranked 5-10 positions higher than they should be.
