Why did Florida coach Urban Meyer call that secret timeout at the end of the Auburn game? Was he hoping that Wes Byrum would be focusing on how much of a jackass Meyer is, and therefore miss the second kick? ‘Cause it seems like given the choice between kicking the potential game-winner straight off the bench and kicking it after a test run, most kickers would want the free practice kick.
Stewart didn’t respond. Which is weird, ’cause no joke, he usually sends me a quick email response. However, the responses were to emails sent during the off-season when his email traffic drops to probably a hundredth of what it is in-season.
