Hmm… it seems Auburn may be reverting back to their old offensively inconsistent ways. Fortunately, Arkansas was without Marcus Monk, or the game could have easily gone the other way.

Oh well, a wins-a-win. Now it’s time to get ready for LSU.

Which reminds me. I can’t believe how dumb the ESPN “analysts” can be sometimes - specifically, Rece Davis. In a comment meant to transition from the Auburn/ Arkansas game to LSU/Kentucky game, Rece said something to the effect that Auburn had also been pulling for the Wildcats to knockoff LSU. But Auburn didn’t need LSU to lose since we play them next week. If Auburn wins that game, they’ll be tied with LSU in the west and will hold the tie-breaker over LSU. Also, (in general) you want your upcoming opponents to win so they look better before you beat them. Since Auburn doesn’t play Kentucky this year, a Wildcat win does nothing for Auburn’s strength-of-schedule. The LSU loss only hurts Auburn.

What’s most troubling is that Rece should know better. HE WENT TO FREAKIN-ALABAMA! How does he not know the nuances of college football? I guess it doesn’t take much to get a BA in Broadcast News and/or Public Affairs at Alabama.
