Planning for the 2008 SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament
Going to the SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament every March was a big family tradition we has when I was growing up. Each year, from 1979 to 1985, my dad drove our four-person nuclear family wherever the tournament was held that year (usually Birmingham) so we could cheer-on Auburn (and anyone playing Alabama) for 4 days of thrilling SEC basketball. It was a great family tradition that my wife and I adopted as one of our own back in 2001.
Since then, we’ve been trying to refine our tournament experience. I’ve learned a lot in the times we’ve been, so I decided to pass on my knowledge in a series called: “Planning for the 2008 SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament.”
