…yet strangely, we’re still tied with Alabama.
Once again, Auburn lost a close, very winnable game to a 2nd-tier SEC team (so what are we, 3rd tier?). Oh well, the evening wasn’t a total waste. My folks attended the game and were able to get me one of the Chuck Person bobblehead dolls Auburn gave away at the door.
So, where will Auburn be seeded in the 2008 SEC Men’s Tournament? Well, as I predicted in an earlier post, Auburn will end as either the 5th or 6th seed. As I also predicted, winning at Arkansas will make us 5th, and losing, will make us 6th.
Finishing 5th, will set us up to play Florida in Thursday’s 3rd game. Finishing 6th will match us up against either Kentucky or Vandy - if Kentucky loses and Vandy wins, we’ll play Kentucky, otherwise, we’ll play Vandy. So… go Kats!
