It was a nice day to start the season. The weather was a bit overcast. It was, of course, hot. But not so much that you couldn’t enjoy the game. Our seats were fine considering this was our first year as season ticket holders. We were underneath the jumbotron; which made it hard to see replays, but provided shade from the setting sun.
Auburn played well enough, but I was less than impressed by the new spread offense. Hopefully the Tigers will get everything together next week against Southern Miss.
After the game, we walked over to Toomer’s Corner for the celebration. It was fun. I estimate I was stopped about 150 times today for photo opportunities.
