For the first time this season, Auburn wasn’t leading at halftime. Not a good sign for a team that characteristically goes cold in the second half.
Oh, Auburn had their chances, and did just enough to keep fans watching. But in the end, Auburn was Auburn.
We REALLY needed this win to go bowling. Even if we beat Div1AA Tennessee-Martin next week (not a 100% certainty), we’d need a titanic upset over Georgia or Alabama to reach .500.
On a related note: Florida’s Michael-Vick-Level of violence against the Dawgs, coupled with Auburn’s loss today, took about $75 dollars off the value of my Auburn/ Georgia tickets I’m selling on ebay this week.
