Last week, I was contacted by Chris, a Georgia fan living in Australia (he and his wife are geneticists, and apparently, Australia needs to import those) about contributing to his weekly Georgia football preview, “Smack Talk.” Opposing fans are given the opportunity to pontificate about their team’s superiority. So, I put together my 4 hopes for tomorrow’s game and sent them halfway ’round the world.
The relative disappointment of each teams’ seasons and the similarities of the programs lead to the most amicable Smack Talk in history. (Should I be proud or embarrassed?) Funny how 6 losses and 5 ugly wins can take the wind out of a fan’s sails.
