Auburn basketball fans everywhere are crying.
Gottfried was always a heck of a recruiter, but come game time, his teams never seemed to measure up. I thought for sure Bama would have fired him after last season’s disappointing finish. I guess the Bama AD is just 10 months behind me.

You know, I’ve always though Arkansas Coach John Pelphrey looks like he shoulda been a member of the Lovin’ Spoonful - but maybe that’s just me.
Anyway, there wasn’t much lovin’ in Auburn’s 22-point blow-out of the Hogs.

Again, Auburn hung around long enough to demonstrate just how mediocre the SEC is this year. With 8 minutes to go, Auburn had the lead… on Kentucky… in Rupp.

During Jeff Lebo’s tenure at Auburn, the Tigers have been the overall worst team in the SEC. Yet we’ve still been able to beat Bama more often than not.
Amazing.

I caught the end of this one on TV. It was actually close, with Auburn taking the lead at 4 minutes remaining. One of these days, we’re actually gonna win a close one.
