Auburn Elvis before the stormThe game started 45 minutes late due to severe thunderstorms. Auburn’s defense started 21 points late. In past years, that would have been all she wrote for the Tigers. Fortunately, this year’s offense can hold its own in fast-paced games. By the end of the evening, it seemed like everyone on the team had made a vital contribution to the win. Quarterback Todd hit some outstanding throws. Ben Tate slogged through a tough night where he earned every one of his 75 yards. In the end, the game ball goes to the Auburn defensive line that grew stronger as the game progressed, finally sealing the game with a wonderful pick-six.

In spite of the drenching downpour, we had a great time at the game. The Tiger Walk was moved from S. Donahue due to the stormy weather and we barely made it over to Roosevelt Dr. (in front of Beard-Eaves) in time.

All-in-all, it was the most exciting game I’ve seen (in person) at Jordan-Hare.
